Change to bus timetable 73/553 Carlisle - Caldbeck - Keswick

 The following changes are to take place from the 23rd March 2024

* The service 73 is being withdrawn and will not run this summer.

* It will be replaced by a new 553 service, as part of their main service 554 between Carlisle and Keswick and will additionally run on Sundays.

* The service has been streamlined to give faster journey times between Carlisle and Keswick for through travellers but this means that it will no longer run via Hesket Newmarket or Ireby.

* The middle of the day journey runs to Carlisle with an extra later journey from Carlisle to Keswick via Caldbeck, but a day return to Carlisle is not possible.
