Temporary Road Closure - Station Road, Dalston - 15 August 2022 for 2 weeks

 Cumbria County Council will be carrying out works to upgrade the drainage on Station Road, Dalston for approximately 12 days excluding weekends. Work will commence on Monday 15^th of August 2022 between property No.20 and the junction of Carlisle Road.

To enable the work to be carried safely it is necessary to close the road as it is not wide enough to maintain two-way traffic. Access will be maintained for residents in the affected properties, but there may be some delays/disruption.

Works on site will begin at approximately 08:00 each day and will be completed by 16:00. 

Diversions will be in place via  B5299 (Dalston), U1161 (Peter Lane), A595 and U1133 (Barras Brow).
